Anyway, coming back to the original story, the matchmaking organization was displeased with the antics of the man as they don't operate such as a retail store which has a money back guarantee policy. On hindsight, he should have acquired his wife together with his credit card, then he'd be capable of claim a charge-back for "faulty goods".

It's unknown if, in future, "hire purchase" conditions or "payment plans" can be organized with matchmaking agencies to purchase brides making them more affordable to the masses.

However, regardless of the cost and social stigma attached with buying a Vietnamese wife, to some men, they think that while in the long haul this may end up being cheaper in comparison to marrying a nearby woman.
